New Features
Powerful new tools and capabilities added to PACO to help you work smarter and deliver even better care
Campaigns
Set different message methods across campaign sends:
You can now choose how each message in a campaign is sent — for example, send the first message by email, and follow-up messages by SMS if the patient hasn’t responded. This gives you more control over your communication strategy and helps balance cost and effectiveness.
This can be set up in the tag configuration, allowing different communication methods for each stage of a campaign sequence.
What this means for you:
Use email first to reduce SMS costs
Send SMS follow-ups to increase patient engagement
Tailor your approach to fit your patients and budget

Campaign
Fixed Campaign Creation Bug When Selecting Confirmations and Reminders:
Previously, when creating a campaign, users could become stuck on the “SMS Content” or “Email Content” page and be unable to proceed. This occurred because the system required a change in the reminder message selection before allowing you to continue – even if the original reminder was appropriate.
We’ve fixed this issue so you can now continue without having to unnecessarily change and reselect reminders or confirmations.
What this means for you:
Campaign creation will no longer get stuck at the SMS Content stage
No need to change and reselect reminder messages to proceed
Reduced confusion and frustration when building campaigns
Faster and smoother campaign setup process
TPP
Health forms now save to slot in TPP:
We’ve resolved an issue where booking a slot type through a health form in TPP could fail with the message “Appointment Booking Failed”, even when availability was confirmed. This prevented practices from saving health forms to their triage lists.
The booking process will now complete successfully, allowing health forms to be saved to the correct slot without errors.
What this means for you:
Reliable slot booking through health forms in TPP
Health forms now save correctly to triage lists
Smoother workflow for practices managing patient appointments
Embargoed TPP slots now show in Patient Scheduler:
We’ve resolved an issue where TPP slots with an embargo were not appearing in the Patient Scheduler. Embargoed slots will now show correctly in the Patient Scheduler, ensuring all eligible appointment times are visible to patients.
What this means for you:
Embargoed TPP slots now appear in the Patient Scheduler
Patients see all eligible appointment options
Improved consistency between TPP and Patient Scheduler
Comms Hub
Improved accuracy in Comms Hub reporting:
We’ve resolved issues affecting the accuracy and usability of the Comms Hub reporting dashboard. These included incorrect counts for SMS and email sends, booking link utilisation occasionally showing above 100%, and problems with the grid’s sort and filter functions.
The dashboard now provides accurate, consistent, and trustworthy reporting.
What this means for you:
Accurate counts for SMS, email sends, and booking link usage
Reliable sort and filter functions in the reporting grid
More trustworthy reporting for operational decisions
Patient lists sent to Comms Hubs campaigns no longer show “0”:
We’ve fixed an issue where patient lists sent from Analytics to Comms Hub could incorrectly display as having “0” patients when creating a campaign.
Patient counts will now display correctly, ensuring campaigns are built with the intended audience.
What this means for you:
Accurate patient counts when creating campaigns from Analytics lists
Confidence that campaigns are sent to the correct recipients
Smoother setup process in Comms Hub
