Improvements

Enhancements that make PACO more intuitive and efficient - Your feedback in action

Configuration

Main DFD URL shown on the DFD Configuration screen:

We’ve added the practice’s main Digital Front Door (DFD) URL to the DFD Configuration screen for users with appropriate access, along with a clear “Copy DFD Link” button to quickly place the link on your clipboard.

If a practice does not have a DFD URL stored, we’ve shown a clear error message advising that no URL is present and to contact Blinx Support.

What this means for you:

    • Quicker self-service: find and copy your DFD link without contacting support

    • Fewer delays: share the correct URL with patients and colleagues in one click

    • Clear guidance when missing: immediate prompt to contact Blinx Support if no URL is set

Comms Hub

Duplicate codes now prevented in tag setup:

We’ve added a safeguard to stop duplicate codes being entered when setting up tags in PACO. Each list of Email Search Codes or SMS Search Codes must now contain unique codes before it can be saved.

What this means for you:

    • Tags can no longer be saved with duplicate codes

    • Clear error message if duplicates are entered

    • More reliable and predictable tag behaviour

Analytics

Import lists and reliable DMD code search in Prescribing Analytics:

We’ve added an Import List option to the Issue DMD Product Code ID field in Advanced Search (Prescribing). You can now paste or upload a list of DMD Product Code IDs and get accurate, consistent matches in Analytics.

What this means for you:

    • Faster bulk searches by importing a list of DMD Product Code IDs

    • More reliable results when filtering by DMD codes

    • Less manual effort and fewer errors when working with prescribing data

Better handling of deleted observations in Analytics:

We’ve updated PACO Analytics so that it now correctly handles cases where the field observation_deleted is left as null. This ensures that reports and queries run smoothly without errors or missing data when this field has not been set.

Previously, Analytics could fail or misinterpret results if the observation_deleted value was null. The system now treats these records appropriately, improving reliability.

What this means for you:

    • More consistent results when running reports involving observations

    • Reduced errors when fields have missing or null values

Fixes

Resolved bugs to keep PACO running seamlessly when it matters most.

Analytics

Age range updates on existing tags:

We’ve fixed an issue where removing an age range from an existing tag didn’t save correctly. Now, when you remove or update the age range and save, the changes take effect as expected.

What this means for you:

    • Age range updates on tags now save correctly

    • Fewer repeated edits needed

    • Smoother tag management experience

SNOMED Code Display Improvement:

We’ve fixed an issue where some SNOMED codes were showing with an unnecessary trailing zero.

What this means for you:

    • SNOMED codes now display correctly and consistently

    • Reduces confusion and ensures cleaner, more accurate code selection

Rocket Bar

Pop-ups in Rocketbar now appear in the right place:

We’ve fixed a small visual issue in Rocketbar where the Email and Schedule pop-ups sometimes appeared off to the side instead of in the centre of the screen. They now display correctly for a smoother, more consistent experience.

What this means for you:

    • Pop-ups now appear in the correct position

    • Cleaner, more consistent Rocketbar interface

    • Smoother experience when emailing or scheduling

Appointment Reminders

External Reminders Incorrectly Saving to Patient Record:

We’ve resolved an issue where external reminders were being saved to patient records, even when configured not to.

What this means for you:

    • External reminders will now only be saved to patient records when this option is selected.

    • Patient records will remain accurate and reflect only the intended information.

Health Forms

Clearing Alarm Notifications After Health Form Review:

We’ve fixed an issue where alarm-triggered notifications stayed visible even after the related Health Form had already been reviewed and completed.

What this means for you:

    • Alarm notifications now clear automatically once a form is reviewed

    • Fewer unnecessary alerts

    • A clearer, more reliable notification system across Rocketbar and the Web App

Digital Front Door

Improved “No Availability” Pop-Up Functionality:

We’ve resolved an issue where users were unable to select Accept on certain short “No Availability” pop-up messages that didn’t require scrolling. This update ensures the Accept button is always accessible and responsive.

Additionally, pop-ups must now be closed using the on-screen button, rather than by clicking outside the box. This change enhances consistency and prevents accidental dismissal of important messages.

What this means for you:

    • The Accept button will always be available to continue

    • Pop-ups must now be acknowledged properly for improved reliability

    • A more consistent and user-friendly experience across the platform
