Analytics
Import & Select All Now Available in Analytics:
We’ve added two improvements to make bulk messaging from Analytics faster and easier. Previously, importing patient lists and selecting large groups took more steps than necessary, slowing things down.
What this means for you:
You can now import patient lists (e.g., NHS numbers) directly from the main Analytics page, without needing to go through Advanced Search first.
A new Select All option lets you choose every patient in the grid with one click—no more manually selecting rows one by one.
If you still want to refine or edit the imported data, Advanced Search remains available.
Health Forms Inbox
Faster, more responsive inbox updates:
We’ve reduced the inbox auto-refresh time from 60 seconds to 15 seconds, so updates such as status changes now appear much more quickly. This means users no longer need to manually refresh the page as often to see the latest information.
Previously, the slower refresh cycle could cause delays in displaying new or updated items. With more frequent refreshes, the inbox now reflects real-time activity far more accurately.
What this means for you:
More up-to-date information displayed in your inbox
Less need to manually refresh to check for changes
A clearer, more accurate view of current workload and status updates
Fixes
Resolved bugs to keep PACO running seamlessly when it matters most.
Health Forms
Clearer status for failed patient record filing:
We’ve updated how Health Forms behave when filing to the patient record fails at any point in the process, including before the clinical system is contacted. Instead of leaving the Patient Record Status blank, these forms now show a clear status such as “Failed to Save to Patient Record”, and can be safely retried when appropriate.
Previously, if something went wrong during internal steps (for example, slot lookup or appointment booking), the Health Form would move to Reviewed but the Patient Record Status stayed null. This made it hard to see that filing had failed and meant null was being used for both “not yet attempted” and “internal failure”, leading to confusion and inconsistent behaviour.
What this means for you:
Clearer visibility when a Health Form has not been successfully filed to the patient record
Consistent Patient Record Status values, reducing ambiguity around null statuses
A safer, more reliable pathway to retry filing Health Forms when patient record saving does not complete successfully
Preventing duplicate health form filings:
We’ve resolved an issue where Health Forms could be filed into the patient record more than once. This happened after a previous change allowed forms stuck in a “not synced to patient record” state to be retried when the Patient Record Status was null. In some cases, this inadvertently allowed users to resend the same Health Form multiple times.
Previously, certain filing failures did not correctly update the Patient Record Status, leaving it blank and creating a pathway for duplicate filings. We’ve now ensured that every failed attempt is recorded with a clear status, preventing the system from retrying forms that have already been successfully saved.
What this means for you:
Greater protection against duplicate entries in the patient record
Clearer, more reliable Patient Record Status values
Safer retries when a genuine filing failure occurs
Rocket Bar
Rocketbar “Get current patient” error resolved:
We’ve fixed an issue in Rocketbar where using the “Get current patient from clinical system” function could result in an error on some computers. The process now runs reliably without interruption.
Previously, Rocketbar was attempting to update a log file in a location where certain machines did not have the required permissions. We’ve updated the log file location to avoid this permission issue and ensure the feature works as expected.
What this means for you:
More reliable use of “Get current patient” in Rocketbar
Fewer disruptive error messages when launching from the clinical system
Consistent behaviour across different workstations and setups
