✨ New Feature
Brand-new tools and functionalities added to PACO to help you work more efficiently and deliver even better patient care.
Quick Pay
Quick Pay – an easy way to send and manage patient invoices:
We’re piloting a new feature called Quick Pay, which lets you create and send patient invoices using your practice’s Stripe account. Patients can pay using an online link or in person via a Stripe Terminal.
You can generate invoices, send them to patients, and track their payment status – all directly from PACO. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
🔒 Please note: This is currently part of a pilot programme, so it’s not yet visible to all practices. If you’d like to be part of the pilot, just contact our Helpdesk.
What this means for you:
Create and send invoices to patients in a few clicks
Let patients pay online or in person
Track payment progress easily within PACO
📌 You’ll need a Stripe account to use this feature.
🚀 Improvements
Enhancements to existing features, based on your feedback, to make PACO faster, smoother, and easier to use.
Analytics
“Issue term” renamed back to “Prescribing term” in Analytics:
To avoid confusion, we’ve renamed “Issue term” back to “Prescribing term” in PACO Analytics. This makes it clearer that the column refers to medication prescribing data, helping users interpret reports more easily.
What this means for you:
Clearer language when working with medication data
Easier to understand and use prescribing information
Consistent terminology across Analytics
User Portal
“Release Notes” menu option added to User Portal:
You’ll now find a “Release Notes” option in the User Portal menu. Clicking this will take you directly to the Blinx Healthcare release notes page, where you can see all the latest updates, improvements, and new features.
What this means for you:
Quickly access the latest release information
Stay up to date with new features and fixes
No need to search — it’s now built right into your portal

Bite-size video guides now available in the User Portal:
You can now access short training videos directly from the User Portal. Each video opens in a moveable mini-player with full controls and can also be viewed in full-screen. The layout is fully responsive for all screen sizes.
We’ve also added cookie tracking so you can easily see which videos you’ve already watched.
What this means for you:
Quick access to helpful training videos
Flexible viewing with mini-player or full-screen mode
Works smoothly across all devices
Tracks which videos you’ve watched
🛠️ Fixes
Resolved bugs and technical issues to ensure PACO runs reliably and as expected.
Health Forms & Quick Forms
Failed forms can now be re-saved to the clinical record:
We’ve fixed an issue that prevented Health Forms from being saved to the clinical record if a previous attempt had failed. Users were receiving a response error, and the form could not be transferred – disrupting clinical workflows and requiring manual workarounds.
This has now been resolved, and previously failed forms can be successfully saved without errors.
What this means for you:
Previously failed forms can now be saved correctly
No more response errors blocking clinical record updates
Smoother, more reliable clinical workflows
Appointment Book
Slot preview now works for multi-day appointment sessions:
We’ve fixed an issue in PACO Connect where no appointment slots were shown in the preview screen if the session’s start and end dates were on different days. This caused confusion, as the session appeared to save correctly but showed no slots when previewed.
The system now correctly generates and displays all configured slots across the selected date range.
What this means for you:
Slot preview now works for sessions spanning multiple days
Configured slots display correctly in the preview
Analytics
Advanced Search in Analytics for TPP Practices Now Correctly Returning Patient Results:
We identified a bug where the Advanced Search tool in Analytics was not correctly compiling results following an Advanced Search in TPP practices. No matter what rule was used, the results were returning 0 patients, even when matching patients were there. This has now been fixed. The tool now finds and shows the right patients for the rules you search for.
What this means for you:
You can now use Advanced Search in TPP practices without issues
Searches show the correct number of patients
Restored functionality for creating new reports
Child Codes in Imported XML Searches Now Import Correctly:
We’ve fixed a bug that caused some imported XML searches to incorrectly include child codes that were meant to be excluded. These searches will now map correctly, respecting any exceptions.
We’ve also optimised the way SNOMED codes are handled by incorporating the lookup into the main query, reducing query volume and improving performance. Deleted observations are now excluded from results.
What this means for you:
Accurate mapping of imported XML searches with child code exceptions
Faster performance due to improved SNOMED handling
Cleaner results with deleted observations excluded
