Improvements

Enhancements that make PACO more intuitive and efficient - Your feedback in action

Quick Send

Document Attachments Now Default to Newest First in Quick Send

When attaching documents in Quick Send, the list now automatically shows the most recent documents first. Previously, it defaulted to sorting by attachment type, which made it harder to find the latest version — especially when documents had similar names (e.g., GP FIT notes).

What this means for you:

    • The newest documents now appear at the top of the list.

    • It’s quicker and easier to select the correct file for patients.

    • This reduces the chance of sending the wrong or outdated document.

File Documents

Configurable File Watch Location for SystmOne Processor

We’ve updated the Blinx SystmOne Processor so that the File Watcher no longer defaults to the installer’s personal “Documents” folder. Users can now configure or change the file watch location after installation. This allows practices to select a shared directory (for example, C:\PACO\Imports) that all users on the device can access.

Previously, when the Processor was installed by an admin or CSU account, it set the watch path to that user’s profile (e.g. C:\Users\john.smith\Documents). Other users logging into the same machine could not access this folder, causing file upload failures.

What this means for you:

    • Consistent file uploads, regardless of which user is logged into the computer

    • Easier setup in shared or multi-user environments

    • Reduced reliance on the installing user’s account and fewer upload errors

Fixes

Resolved bugs to keep PACO running seamlessly when it matters most.

Rocket Bar

Rocketbar message inbox crash fixed

We’ve fixed an issue where opening certain messages in the Rocketbar message inbox caused Rocketbar to crash. These messages now open correctly and reliably.

Previously, specific message types triggered a crash on open. We corrected the handling so affected messages load as expected.

What this means for you:

    • Fewer interruptions when reviewing patient messages

    • Consistent, reliable opening of all messages in the inbox

    • Smoother workflows with less need to restart Rocketbar

Comms Hub

Quick Form Now Opens Correctly in Comms Hub

Previously, when selecting Quick Form in Comms Hub, both Quick Form and Quick Send would open at the same time. This caused confusion, as closing Quick Form would reveal Quick Send still open underneath.

What this means for you:

    • Selecting Quick Form now only opens the Quick Form window.

    • The process is smoother and avoids unnecessary duplicate screens.

    • This reduces confusion and keeps your workflow simple and focused.
